I called my daddy daddy until the day he passed. Screw you

I called my father, daddy, until the day he died at 84. I wish my daddy were still here. My mother died at 56 and was always “mama”.

He not an Arkansas fan, he’s from Claiborne Parish and he still plays video games. More than likely his “daddy” was never in his life and he’s jealous.

The only grown man I know who refers to his father as my daddy lost his daddy this year. So he can refer to him however he wants.

News flash. Your daddy needs to take his belt off and tell you “now son , I don’t wanna do this” as he tears the hide of your end piece.

I have a 53-year old employee who talks about "daddy." He's also my worst employee.

"How dare you call your parent one common term of endearment instead of another common term of endearment!"
That being said, when I talk about my father I usually refer to him as dad, but talking about him with my siblings or to him it's dad or daddy. Sometimes a Daddy-O in a greeting if I'm in a good mood

Cajun men often call their fathers "Daddy". I don't. I called my father dad and my son calls me dad.

It's a southern thing. Lots of people in the South call their parents Mama and Daddy. Move to Chicago if it bothers you.

your topic as a thread is more annoying than the topic itself, by far.

One day you might have real problems to worry about

OP sounds irrationally angry.

***News flash*** you're not six years old anymore.
Sounds like you have some daddy issues.

I’m flattered, Nurse but quit hitting on me. I’m married.

They are grown man-children. And usually not very bright.

I have no idea why anyone would care what a child calls a parent at any age. My Daddy passed away, but all of my life and to this day, my mother refers to him as "Daddy". "Daddy is coming by your house to drop some things off".
