Sorry but Nola is regularly on the most dangerous cities in the world list. That can only be said about a handful of U.S. cities.

To act like crime in Nola is similar to other American cities is utter nonsense.

I live in Houston and every single day you can turn on the news and there will be at least 3 homocides in the news. I can assure you there are many more that don't make the news. Don't act like NOLA is more dangerous than other cities that's bullshite

Surely you must be trolling.

Just in case you aren't:

50 most dangerous cities in the world

There are only 4 U.S. cities on this list.

Go pull up murder rate statistics for U.S. cities.

There's no argument, you have to be completely deluded to think Nola crime is similar to other cities.

I live here. I love the city. But I'm not gonna stick my head in the sand about crime.

Except for those pesky facts that the FBI puts out, you're absolutely right.

I was trying to decide out if you're a troll or just a fricking moron, then I remembered the wisdom of children.

If your argument is that crime happens in cities other than New Orleans, all I can say is....no fricking shite.

The frequency that it occurs in New Orleans is the issue. If it was an isolated incident or even came close to reaching the median for cities it's size, that would be a different story.

Did you ever consider that the reason you don't "hear about it" is because it doesn't fit the narrative as opposed to the fact that it never happens? A police officers life was saved a few years ago on the corner of Joor and Greenwell Springs road by a concealed carry holder. It happens all the time...

CC people talk big about carrying their guns with them. But I find it funny that you never hear of any instances where crime is stopped by some bystanding baw with a glock.
Speak for yourself. I hear it on the reg. If you don't believe me, google it.

What are they doing up that early?

I've been to New Orleans 3 or 4 times for conferences and I'm an early riser. Got up before daylight and went running then on to Cafe Du Monde for beignets and coffee just about every morning. All at or before dawn. Nobody on the streets but me, passed out bums and the rats. I don't plan on going back anytime soon, but if I did, I'd either just use a treadmill and hit the hotel breakfast or I'd be carrying.
