Sure, but it's going to greatly reduce the places you will be able to enter. If your just going to dinner and don't plan on going into the bars then I would absolutely carry.

Some folks carry 100% of the time when they are out and about. Most tourist probably don't carry and locals don't go around the quarter when these things happen.
It would be interesting if someone took out an add in the paper that said a local group of concealed carriers would start walking the quarter at the "right" times. Might force someone to do something to protect the usual suspects.

CC people talk big about carrying their guns with them. But I find it funny that you never hear of any instances where crime is stopped by some bystanding baw with a glock.
