Is it any wonder that they both have the same initials?

Very depressing coming home at night and seeing that dumb sign of that trash restaurant.

They brought the same shite mgmt over from the old building on Sherwood. OP's post isn't surprising

I'm LMAO. I was reading Chris' post and kept wondering where it was going.

Three paragraphs later I figured It could be summed up in a few words: Chris ate at Golden Coral.

Don't know that for a fact but the Sherwood one closed awfully close to when this one opened. Maybe they just moved the business.

What, you throw away silverware after one use?

Did the friend also tell her about all the fingernail clippings in said fountain?

Long story short, once upon a time, my buddy and i went to eat here. i remember asking him "hey, wanna go eat there?" and i'm pretty sure he said "sure", or maybe something like "ok, that's cool". his parents are doctors, by the way. so i had heard this place wasn't that good, and i don't know what made us want to go there. it was probably because i suggested it, but we went anyway.

it reminded me of this time we were eating at a restaurant with my parents in gulf shores. i was pretty young. it was overcast that day, which was lucky because i had gotten a sunburn a few days before. i've never been stung by a jellyfish, but i imagine it can hurt pretty had kinda like a bad sunburn. golden corral was packed almost as much as this place was because it was one of the only spots to eat on thanksgiving by the beach.

if you don't want to read this, go to hell. i don't care what you think of me and my posting. i'm gonna keep posting and if you don't like it, don't read it. the place wasn't that good, but i'd probably go back.

That building looks awfully small to house the kitchen, buffet, and the fat arse customers. Eating at Golden Corral is bad enough, waiting for a table as if I was at a real restaurant, that's when I'll know I've hit rock bottom.

I thought about stopping by yesterday just to try it while it was still new and (assumably) still clean. Glad I decided against

I haven't been to one since I was a kid

Is this news to some of you people that Golden Corral is the grossest sector of our society? There's a chinese buffet on florida blvd that's probably cleaner than every Golden Corral along the I-10.

With Kaminari 2 miles one way at LSU and El Magey 3 miles the other way at Siegen and Picadilly(weekend breakfast) 1 mile away, I have no need to ever get my 'fat kid' on at GC anymore.

BTW, El Magey is BR's best kept buffet secret. It AIN'T Panchos.
And Picadilly Breakfast Buffet, omelet and pancake bar is the BEST value in town at $8 with drink.

Them Vegetable/ chicken/ Pork fajita salads I make are fricking LEGIT.

They have all the usual Mexican bullshite too, and good desserts for kids. But that BBQ chicken on the end is my favorite.
