Golden Corral on Millerville

My daughter insisted on going to GC to celebrate her bday, she was told by a friend at school that there was a chocolate fountain and was all over that. We reluctantly obliged.
Holy shite
Line out of the door, a wait to be seated once admission was paid, drink stations out of ice, limited clean silverware, picked over inventory, and I even saw a piece of chicken in the hopper with just the skin removed. Won't get into the dining population.
We left fast. Beware

Is this news to some of you people that Golden Corral is the grossest sector of our society? There's a chinese buffet on florida blvd that's probably cleaner than every Golden Corral along the I-10.

That was probably me. My fav thing at GC is peeling off the fried chicken skin and dunking it in the chocolate fountain... mmmmmmmmmmm.

Can you imagine when the CEO's were coming up with the concept for that place?

CFO Chet Hurtgirdle: Sir, if I may opine, what are some other places that attract morbidly obese trash?

The wife and I tried it last weekend (around 3pm on Saturday) and there was a small line even then.
Food was good, our waitress was up-beat and attentive and all of the silverware and plates were clean (and plentiful).
It's not a place I would go every day, but once the "new" wears off we might try it again to see how it's changed.
