I am Catholic and have yet to be run out of town and no lynch mobs have come after our family either.

This may sound crazy to you, but we even have Mardi Gras parades around here.

True, I stand corrected. My kids married Mississippi girls. Beautiful, polite and great fashion sense. Better be protestant in the rest of the state

There are paved surfaces that lead one from the Coast to Hattiesburg.

The founder of Kenner was from Donaldsonville (Eponymous), so anywhere in Mississippi would be my choice.

Yes, a pretty good amount. There's also a good amount in Vicksburg, Natchez, Jackson metro area, and Greenville. The Gulf Coast just has more per capita.

Where is this Kenner you speak of? Is that close to Kennabrah?

It certainly drops off once you get north of I-10. The Diocese of Biloxi actually encompasses the Hattiesburg area. Im sure there is a pretty strong parish in Hattiesburg though. Get outside of the city limits and i imagine in drops off alot.

The Hattiesburg/Oak Grove area has a strong Catholic presence. Great place to live and raise a family as well as beautiful women. The Louisiana influence has also been increasing in the area.

Not counting the coastal cities, these three seem obviously better than Donaldsonville:

Madison
Olive Branch
Hattiesburg

I chose MS, BSL, over every city in southeast LA and I think it's a great place to live.

Bought 65 acres in Purvis. Going to start building this coming year.

I really like the Hattiesburg area.
