That's why I had it for an away game. And only 1 Louisiana person came up to ky. And of the 2 weekends we had to choose from I made sure not to pick a home game.

So yeah, better than him getting deported.

I feel the same way about big races, but I wouldn't miss a wedding for one (unless I had a horse IN the derby. Then they would understand).

Went and played golf in the morning with my groomsman and best man. Then went to the hotel with a few of them and drank until about an hour before the wedding. Walked to the venue and had the ceremony and reception. Went to the hotel for the post wedding sex. Then we went out with some of our wedding party for drinks at a nearby bar. I had on my tux and she had on her dress so everyone was buying us drinks.

After my first wedding, at about ten pm we went to check in at the hotel room. I was wearing a tux, my then-wife was wearing a long fancy white gown. The desk lady looks at us, says, are you guys coming from a wedding or something?

At my reception, two frat brothers were horsing around with each other and they knocked the wedding cake off the table onto the floor.

Woke up hung over as ever from the bachelor party.

Made it to the church still hurting.

Got married. Did the non alcohol reception thingy. Her parents are Church of Christ.

Checked in the hotel. Did the deed. Ordered Johnnys pizza, did the deed again. Ate pizza.

Met my groomsmen later at a near by club with the Mrs. Went back to the room and did the deed again.

Drove home to Texas the next day.

You are pathetic.

As I said earlier, I can't imagine caring so much about a football game, that happens 12-14 times a year, every single year. It sounds tiring having a sport dictate what happens in your day to day life.

Dude, we get it. You don't like football. Ever thought most guys would prefer going to that 7 days a week over getting dressed up for some wedding you don't really care about?

Yes, if you schedule your wedding during a football game, prepare for people to not show up and deal with it. No one wants to hear your lecturing about how football isn't as important in life as weddings.

No. Only 12-15 days a year out of the 365.

He's not man enough to put his foot down to tell his dumbass bride that he isnt/wasn't getting married during a football game.

I would love to hear some hobbies of the few wedding enthusiasts on here that they would skip a wedding for or plan their weddings around.

A) If you don't have one, your life sucks.

B) If you do have one, I bet its stupid

Got up, the groomsmen and other friends came over. Started drinking, then left for the alter, got married, tried to party at the reception, but had to do something (dance, picture, etc.) every 5 minutes. Left reception. Consummated the marriage, went to sleep.

I think it's the part where they play 12-14 games, not 7.

If I skip a friend's wedding because it conflicts with a football game, I hope that friend kicks me in the shin.

Lol man. I was referring to home games. But either way, 12-14 Saturdays isn't day to day life smart guy.

Plus if a friend kicks you in the shin for that, chances are it won't hurt so let them kick away.
