Aspy and her husband were living long distance (if i remember correctly) and she had her own reasons for getting married when it suited them best.
Anyone that matters will show up, and anyone who doesn't show up likely doesn't mean much to you anyway.
I don't plan to ever get married during a game, but shite happens and if someone I cared about was doing it, you bet your arse I'd be there.

I got married the night of an ls game against a shitty non con team. The real back breaker is I missed the Auburn game in 04 a week later on a plane back from the honeymoon. Poor planning on my part. We lost anyway.

My buddy got married on the Saturday of the Ole Miss game this year. A lot of people were annoyed until they realized they had room with a bunch of couches and open bar with the game playing on a huge projector screen. 
Then LSU lost and everyone blamed the groom(jokingly)
