I'm not fond of snakes myself, but I don't kill them unless necessary, and if I do, I don't go parading them around like trophies.

If anyone can't determine that snake is at least 8' long they have zero perspective. Look at the girth and the head as well as the length. It is far from an exaggeration.

And I have farm land and kids and I kill rattlesnakes all the time. I carry a 410 and a 17. frick a snake and anyone who doesn't like it I don't really care.

that snake is no where near 8' long.

Classic camera trick.

The photo was shot in forced perspective style. The snake is closer to the camera than the man holding it on a stick.

This is obviously true. Look at the size of the hook in this perspective.

I'd give the female anchor a big snake.

Bruh, you should stick to the food board. you have some really great insights there. Outdoors, not so much.

That's what I keep telling them, but they insist on getting out the measuring tape.

It's amazing that people are still falling for that trick.

10 feet is huge. Eastern diamondbacks can get to about 8 feet, though.

We've killed a few 6 ft rattlesnakes at our place, that is definitely in the ball park of an 8 ft snake. Don't believe it's 10 ft though. The size of the head relative to the man's hand shows its a good size snake. He is doing the old hoist trick for the camera to try and make it look 10 ft.

No way that snake is even 8 feet long. This is one killed in SC, with jumper cables of all things, that was 6' 7" long. Head looks bigger than the one in the OP to me.

I would shite a brick if I ever came across one of those things. Would shite an even bigger brick if I ever stumbled across a King Cobra. Those frickers are enormous!

Unless this chick has a 10 foot long arm, I'm pretty sure there is very little forced perspective to account for here.

And you can tell by her hands that she's not a little person. Her fingers don't look like little sausages.
