Killed so many snakes when I cruised timber during summer in high school. The foresters just told me to find the biggest stick I could and beat the shite out of them until they quit moving. Spraying the snake in the face using blue paint with one hand and hammering down with a stick in the other was a very underrated combo move.
I have no clue how I was never bitten.

"forced perspective" or not, that is a big arse snake that needed to get got. He had a good run. Probably ate plenty of cows, dogs, and small children in his day.

My imperfect measuring based on the guesstimated size of the head puts the snake at 5'10"..

Its not considered "game"
Like deer and other hunted animals.
