I was fishing down in Leeville this weekend and none of the stations listed on the LSU sports network were broadcasting the baseball game. Of course we were too far from BR to pick it up on 98.1.

The radio app I have has 98.1 but it was playing music not the game. so I signed up for the spring package for GeauxZone. I signed in and the box for video said it was not supported. I clicked on the audio play and nothing. I down loaded a flash player thinking that may be it but still didn't getting anything playing on my phone.

My son logged in with his Iphone and it played the audio with no problem. so we were able to listen to the last 5 innings Saturday. And again on the boat Sunday.

So is there a way to get the note 3 playing GeauxZone?

If that is in fact the issue, no. It's shitty programming.

You need the app. Geaux Zone, IMO, really shows how much disdain LSU has for it's bigger fans. First, you have to buy the geaux zone subscription, which I understand, but it's not as straight forward as it should be. When does the Spring Package expire? No one knows apparently. Does it auto renew, even though you bought the seasonal "spring package", posters on here say it does.

So I get the subscription, then I go to the LSU Sports app I already have downloaded on my iPhone and try to watch the game. It tells me that I need to purchase a VOD upgrade for the app, which i already paid for last year. $4.99

Then, they advertise the LSU sports app as being free for android and iOS, but it's $5.99 on the iPad.

So, this past sunday when I wanted to watch the game, it took me 45 minutes and three separate transactions to watch the game, which was pretty much over by the time I was able to watch.

Will GZ be useless after baseball season since the SECN will be overtaking everyfrickingthing?

This is my question too. I haven't renewed it this year although last year for baseball it was badass.

From what I understand, Geaux Zone will be going away when the SECN launches in August

ETA: Sadly, this means only a handful of baseball games will be able to be seen next year OUTSIDE of the stadium.

This is what I remember from a conversation I had with @valleyshook on twitter
