I sure admired him for doing what he thought he had to do, despite what it cost him. I believe he was a man of integrity and a great father. Very sorry for your loss. RIP.

Funny you post the American flag, considering his actions were contrary to the very basic tenets of the Amerian justice system.

RIP, Gary Plauche. Whether you agree or disagree with what he did (I'm on the fence on it), it's one of the more interesting and shocking things to ever happen...and he did something most people say they'd do but wouldn't have the balls.
Hopefully this thread doesn't bring out Jody (I haven't read the thread though).

In regards to the molester, I agree. frick that guy. In regards to he could have hurt someone doing what he did, not so much. Those cops could have caught a bullet.
But yea, it was a very, very dangerous thing to do, to put it nicely.

My Dad is only a year older said he would have done the same thing as Gary.
Not trying to be a dick or a smart arse, but what does your dads age have to do with it?
My dad likes spaghetti and he would have done the same thing.

I don't know the family, but I do know the story. Prayers to all his loved ones.

While the basic idea behind the American justice system is great, there are parts which have been added that make it flawed,. Way too many criminals are walking around free to commit other horrible crimes simply because of small technicalities. Sometimes the old fashioned justice system just works better.
