"The ignorance on this board is astounding.

My adder sleeps at the foot of my 5yr old daughter's bed every night."

I agree about the ignorance thing.

Great, I was just in Mt. Pleasant this weekend. He's probably in the bay or one of the rivers by now.

He had a front row seat for the Bridge Run on Saturday

I live right down the road from this apartment. I would love to blow this thing away.

I love Gaboon Vipers - beautiful coloration and they are so badass looking. I've always enjoyed viewing that monster specimen they've had at Audobon zoo for years. I think I'll go snake hunting today.

black mamba vs mongoose
These videos always entertain me. The mongoose looks around occasionally like he's not even considering the most deadly snake in the world chilling out 4 feet from him in an incredibly agitated state. Crazy reflexes. I guess millions of years living with snakes and you get pretty light on your feet.

The ignorance on this board is astounding. It has little to do with the snake and everything to do with how the snake is raised. My adder sleeps at the foot of my 5yr old daughter's bed every night. She plays with him, pulls on his tail, tries to ride him like a horse sometimes. And he just acts like it doesn't bother him. Death Fangie (what my daughter named him) would never hurt anyone and he is the sweetest snake I've ever owned. More people get bit by garden snakes every year but the media loves to portray vipers as the bad snakes. In the 80's it was cobras and mambas that were bad. To many people in trailer parks thinking owning a viper is cool and don't know what they're doing is giving us good viper owners a bad name. fricking liberals!

You might be the dumbest parent I have ever encountered!

I sense sarcasm I hope!

If you don't get this joke or the reference I would advise against calling others dumb.

I don't know, none of this sounds like something to joke about:
