It amazes me the number of people who weren't forced to get "big boy" email addresses in high school. When I got to h.s. we all needed a hotmail or yahoo address with first initial, middle initial and last name in order to communicate with our teachers. At the very least you should have one for professional purposes. Be clownboner69@gmail.com on your own time.

Is it that hard to think hey maybe I should create a new email account without a stupid name on it just for job interviews?

I had someone submit a resume with largewhitewoman260@xyz.com.

She was quite a large white woman. Now, I don't know if the 260 referred to her weight or February 1960, which is probably around the time she was birthed.

That would come in handy if you wanted a job at Popeye's.

Would it have helped her chances if she was attractive? What if she was someone who was really good looking but then never dropped the baby weight? Where are we drawing the line here?

It was definitely not baby weight. I asked her about the address and she said it was her daughter's. Apparently, she was unable to open her own email account. Another red flag.

First time I ever collected resumes (it was for a part time office bitch position), I must have had at least 5 that had bible quotes in them.

My favorite still is a guy who put his picture in the top right corner and under skills had "Can drive stick". He looked like the Shermanator.

Blows my mind. Do people not realize that email addresses are free???

I get all kinds of shite with "sexy" "hottie" "redneck" "69" and all kind of other shite like 504beast and blackpresidentialboss and sexycajunmama. I could go on for days with it.

No lie - I set up firstnamelastname@gmail.com email addresses for both my kids when they were toddlers.

I figured by the time they needed them (one is in high school, one about to start college) that their names would be taken and they'd have to have to add some weird numbers to their names.

When they asked about getting an email a few years ago, they laughed at me for setting them up when they were babies. They don't laugh now that they don't have to remember some odd combo of numbers and their names.

Advice to young or to be parents - claim your child's name on gmail ASAP. They'll thank you one day!

I actually interviewed a woman whose address was something like hotchocolatebunny. She had a degree in Chemistry and we were looking for a 4 month temp. I had her faxed resume on the table in front of me and as I was asking her some questions and in the middle of the interview I saw read her address upside down. Her eyes got that 'oh shite' look and then she laid her forehead down on her arms on the table. I would have hired her because she was smart and remembered what she had learned in school (it's amazing the number that don't remember shite), but she was heading to a med school in the Caribbean in a couple of months.
