The only thing surprising here is that this doesn't happen more often. Cocaine is big in the armed forces

Also, one other thing. The Army constantly talks shite about Marines and how stupid they are, when the Army has quite possibly the dumbest, most undisciplined bunch of bags-of-asses out of ANY branch.

That's because Marines ARE fricking stupid. There was a meth ring out of 29 Palms when I was in and they were actually cooking it up in the barracks. The main guy got snitched on ( ) and got 9 years in the brig and a dishonorable discharge.

Not surprising with the amount of criminal offenders that are given the choice between jail or the military.

Last the army always think they're better where as today they can't meet annual enlistment numbers and have been allowing CAT 4 (under 31 on ASVAB), and handing out tons of moral or higher authority waivers than any branch. Yes they are the largest branch but sad they use lower standards and still can't make mission.

2005 called. They want their facts back.

They stopped allowing CAT 4's in 2010 and at one point very recently weren't allowing 11A's or Grad Bs.

I'm going with "partly"...

Looks like somebody shopped in what was blacked out...on top of an image that was already modified (extra $$ stack and "excessive, unrealistic" amount of blow). Original image was probably one of the arrested guys.

Also I wouldn't want frick ups in the military I know it still happens

This does happen. Some guys don't have other options. They learn not to be frick ups and get college paid for or continue on with the military making a living. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not talking hardened criminals here. Just like the police force has frick ups and dumbasses.

You ever been to 29 Palms? What else is there to do there??

Also, at least Marines were smart enough to be able to do a science experiment.

I was there for about a month in 05. Loved the climate and the proximity to Vegas.

This isn't surprising. The DEA raided my barracks once. At that time I was surprised that active duty would be involved at that level. Later on, in 25th ID, I knew an entire infantry platoon full of complety degenerate crackheads. I mean sleeping in allyways, sucking dick for rock, degenerate, from the platoon sergeant down.

Just lol. It's ranger regiment, and there are 3 battalions, an RTB that includes 3 more pseudo battalions. You also don't "deploy" to regiment. What was your RASP class? What about Ranfer school class?

I also heard what's in the OP is fake

I was Army Infantry and worked closely with some marine infantrymen. Those marines were definitely not any brighter than the knuckleheads I was with.

I heard the opposite. My buddy out there said the base wasn't on lockdown but the rest was true.
