But, as you said, as long as that clown is in office, putting his own personal agenda before the actual problems that the city faces, the city of New Orleans will never see another dime from me.

Yup - just when you thought there could be no bigger POS than JBE, Landrieu comes along to claim the title.

So why even go? Doesn't sound like much fun. I had a couple's trip planned there in September, but we're cancelling now and finding somewhere else to go. Only time I'd feel good about going there is when its below freezing out so the dindu's don't feel like committing crime.

My wife and I used to do small weekend getaways once or twice a year up until recently. No more until the issues are addressed.

So much hyperbole.

The vast majority of people who visit New Orleans eat, drink, and sightsee, with little to no problems.

I have recommended numerous people visit over the last couple years. Nobody was robbed, nobody died, and everybody had a great time.

The city will go bankrupt with all these OT ballas taking their vacations to Fort Worth and Baton Rouge instead of New Orleans

Are you suggesting if such a thing happened, you would stop doing so? If not, what's your point?

Baton Rouge?! Are you kidding me? Wait until they whine to you about the traffic.

if Baton Rouge had 10 million tourist coming to visit every year it would be worse.....look how bad BR is without the tourist....you're just lucky Baton Rouge is a bigger shithole and no one has a reason to visit other than LSU football games a few weeks in the fall

No. Bc it's New Orleans, not Caracas.

I dont really care the reason or to play the IF game. I am not stating Baton Rouge is any better. But i don't go to North BR and i don't go to the quarter. Anyone who does is just asking for trouble. They both completely suck.

I guess those two Boston baws were that 0.01%?

Uh, yes. Do you think 99.99% means nothing happens to everyone?

At this point do you really think it's 99.99%?

I was considering hosting the 2017 U.S. Chinese Finger Trap Association Convention in New Orleans this year, but I, too, have since reconsidered.

Probably. If you have some numbers to change my mind, I'm open to them. So many people come to the city everyday, it would take a lot of tourists having issues to make up up 0.01%.

I may go to the Quarter a few times a year...not very often at all

I used to go all the time, but that place is just a shithole with nothing but thugs and gutter punks.
