If your governor has closed non essential businesses but your business is considered essential , and you're working in a neighborhood, get ready for "Oh! Is this essential!?" Snide comments from neighbors walking their dogs and what not. Already dealt with it today. People are going to be pissed that they can't work right now but you are able to.

I don’t know a single person, personally, that isn’t at least working from home.

You’re not friends with anyone who works in healthcare?

ETA: I know my social circle is skewed because my wife and I both work in healthcare, but I have several friends and family (not associated directly with our jobs or school) that work in healthcare.

It’s staggering, the amount of people who think that all business can be done from home.

We aren’t all accountants and IT guys

Had meetings this morning and planned for the Department Managers and Project Managers only to report to the office for work but we just had a discussion and the decision has been made that everyone will work from home until the governor lifts the “stay at home” order.

It’s a damn shame there are so many people without common sense. Had a client tell me today they are shutting a half their site down immediately because some a-hole who was well aware he was sick went to work and despite orders not only this company gave their employees but the fed guidelines also that if you have certain symptoms, do not come to work. Apparently this employee had been sick atleast 3 days. The only reason the company found out is because they were doing temperature checks for Saturday nights shift at the gate and he had a fever of 103+. They got his test results back sometime today and shut 2 units down for at least a week. This is a site in the Midwest.

This shite is frustrating but I guess it could always be worse.

99.9% of us are going to come out of this ok regarding health. I just hate it for everyone who normally works their asses off to make a living but at the moment can’t because of the restrictions in place.
