I personally don't belive him tbh. He probably fricked up and got ostracized by the group and instead of taking responsibility for himself blamed it on his gayness

Delta wrecks shite all over the world and you never know about it. The few who have ever written books or given interviews are ostracized by their peers.
ETA: Another factoid: SF has its own dive school, and there are more SF combat divers than SEALS.

There's almost always more to the story, and maybe this guy did something else to find himself on the outside. But if all of the below went on just because he's gay, that's fricking bullshite.

That's my initial take. Or he ratted someone out over something minor (big no no). But again, if all of that happened just because he's gay, I don't see how anyone can support it. SEALs or not. There are plenty of dedicated, hardened operators who know how to conduct themselves professionally. You couldn't ask for nicer guys than the SEALs I've had the pleasure of working with. They know they're hard so they have to walk around acting like badasses.
