They can usually play for some school in the district.

That's cool. Didn't know that and that must have changed because years ago they didn't allow it.

Isn't that how Tebow got to play in high school?

Also, y'all are getting off topic. This thread is about minor shitty parenting, not homeschool.

I forgot my kid on his first day of school years ago. I even took off of work early to pick him up, and still forgot.

No, that is one of the many advantages (in addition to better test scores, socialization and college options) of homeschooling our boys.

Holy shite, your kids are going to be weird as frick and have an extremely difficult time interacting with outgoing people.

That is a 100% fact

ETA: they'll probably be smart and highly religious though

Exactly. Put your kids on the bus.

Don't fall into the pussification of American trend. Toughen your kids up. It won't kill them.

And even if it does, then your kid was weak & that sucks for you/them, but not for us. We're more important than you.

My mom forgot to pick me up from school when I was in 2nd grade. This was before the pussification of America. All the teachers and faculty locked up and left with no shits given about the 6 year old sitting on the curb. The family was getting ready for dinner and one was missing. Sat out on the curb for over 3 hours.
