Apply, pretty much all retail companies have their own merch teams.

I've worked on merch teams, moved up to projects and remodels, hopefully in the next few weeks ill be with a company that is expanding rapidly and then ill get to open new stores and oversee construction. It can lead to a lot, but be prepared to work overnight.

Per diem, mileage, and travel pay is where the money. My actual salary was only about half of my check.

I'm 54, and I finally found a job I like. I'm a widower and my son went away to college, so I'm on my own for the 1st time in my adult life.

I don't have a college education and hated all of my previous jobs.

This job however let's me live out my dream, to travel every week, I have no residence but stay in decent hotels.

It's called merchandising, easy, and the money is decent.

Does anyone else do this?

I am in a similar situation, divorced,no kids at home.

How did you come across such a job?

I hear there's an opening at the Triple S Mart location.

I'd take take it myself, but I'm not sure how well I'd do selling Eagles/Led Zeppelin bootlegs to the local demographic.

I don't follow delivery trucks and stock, I just go in and make sure products are where they belong on the shelf, I follow what is called a planagrahm, our team does monthly refreshing, easy work, off Fri. Sat, and Sunday most weeks.

And yes, the money is in the travel, miliage and per deim.
