Yeah I wonder how long it would take before you got tired of living there. The pros are that you are in a gorgeous setting with perfect weather every day. The cons...you are still on an island where everything has to be shipped there. So everything is really expensive.

I've been to hawaii twice, the second time was on a 7 day vacation and i was bored after the 4th day or so.
id add las vegas, new orleans and alaska to the list of places i really enjoy visiting but couldn't live there.

Like BR, when it's good, it's really good.
Sometimes serious traffic problems.
Handles crowds well.
Many places to eat.
About one-quarter of the time there's inclement weather.
Kip's been in charge of both at one time or another.
Accessible by car?

I could probably move anywhere I like visiting, at least temporarily.

California. Could easily live there if it wasn't so fricked up. Hell I maybe could even deal with the taxes, loons, etc if it wasn't so damn expensive.

It's tough to live with one person you disagree with on a few issues. Imagine trying to live and work with millions of people that are on the complete opposite end of the spectrum of everything you have ever believed.
