My ex threw punches at me while i was holding my 3 year old daughter. Cops hauled her away.
You don't fight back. You get the kids to safety but if you so much as touch her you're fricked.
Play the long game if you truly care about your kids.
I still remember swallowing the bile..I wanted to tear her limb from limb but the police and courts had the teeth to take care of it.
BTW even with a restraining order cops had to haul her away from my house 2 more times.
Made the custody hearing a slam duck in my favor.
Any physical violence on my part would have negated all that evidence.

I would have recorded the first few seconds of her beating the child for proof of why she has been beaten.

Some people have Personality Disorders. You don't know what or when they will go off. They can't see that they have an issue and it gets worse with time.
