You need to make your own bloodsport movie over there, how much could it cost? And are Koreans attention whores? My friend who is Korean said that is the way the culture is turning, think late 80s...

Damn, I wish I had a job where I travel instead of my lame boring routine every day.

Do you speak Korean? How are you communicating to people at bars, restaurants, stores, etc...?

No Korean. Most speak enough English to communicate sufficiently.

If you are still there I have a tailor you should check out. His name is Park, Wan Yong. His shop is at #136-1 Itaewon-ro youngsan-gu Seoul Korea. Phone number 02-749-8222.

I have bought several suits and a couple of jackets from him. But my favorite thing is the tailored shirts and pants he does. Shirts are only $60 and they fit perfect. Last time I ordered from him he shipped for free. The name of his shop is New York Tailor Co.

I'll look him up if I have the chance.

The guy I bought from Manhattan Tailor, is delivering my suit to the hotel this evening. I may be tied up with our Korean counterparts tonight, but I have about 6-7 hours available tomorrow before I have to head to the airport.

Well this is not saying much. Every Asian I have been drinking with only takes a small amount of alcohol for them to get flat out drunk.

We had about 4 16 oz bottles of Cass and 3 bottles of Soju at the table on Monday. Afterwards, we hit a different bar and finished two of those 2,000 ml beer pitchers.

There were about 6-8 of us so it wasn't too much to drink. I bet we end up somewhere tonight.

Your thread makes me want to check out Korea! I worked in Korea town in L.A. for 3 years so I know all about the people, the food and their customs but I am sure it is WAY different in real Korea.
