My 2019 F150 has the Coyote V8 in it.

Go test drive them and buy the one you like. There's really not a whole lot of separation in them, and it comes down to personal preference.

Me, I HATE the way Chevy/GMC trucks drive, so I prefer the F-150.

Don't tow too much. Occasional boat. Live in North Georgia so gas mileage is my priority, which is making me lean towards the Sierra with the V8 that switches to V4 on highway and hills.

How about the GMC Canyon?

2017 and newer average 21MPG overall... 28 on highway

Go with a Silverado or Sierra unless you enjoy breaking down frequently

I like to have something different, not something that you see 30 in a store parking lot. A Titan platinum, tundra trd, Sierra Denali, or a Jeep truck sticks out from the crowd

Buying a turbo'd out V6 scares me.

I've got 110,000 on my 2014 ecoboost currently with no problems.

Edit: and I'm not the easiest on vehicles. Aggressive would be the best word to describe my driving style.

new Silverados look stupid. Particularly the side profile with the weird molding.

The Sierras look better.

GM botched this batch aesthetically. My next truck may be the first time I don’t buy GM if they don’t change it soon

How about the interior? My 2007 GMC had problems with buttons fading, seats tearing, and headliner getting loose

My FIL Yukon's dashboard cracked after 3 years

I was raised a Chevy guy. They havent made a truck I liked appearence wise since 2002.

My last two trucks have been Ford's. Ive got a 13 F150 with the 5.0 coyote. The Coyote is a bad arse motor.

Also Ford has an electronic rear locker if you get the 4x4 off road or fx4 I believe. Mine has it.

If I disnt get a Ford it would be a Ram Rebel. If you can afford it and dont mind rebuilding the shocks every couple years get a Raptor.

I've owned Silverados and Sierras my whole life. I still have a 2005 Z71 with over 190k and a 2016 Chevrolet 2500 High Country diesel.

The truck I bought 4 months ago was a Tundra. I didn't care for the look on the new Silverado.

Had the misfortune of going to Grand Isle this weekend, averaged 29.4 Mpg in 2018 F-150 3.5L ecoboost there and back. The biggest drawback of the V6 ecoboost is you can’t really rev your engine up like everyone else in GI does, constantly. But if you’re not a homo, and you need to tow like 13.6k lbs, that’s prolly what you want.
