I had a F150 with the V8. 2015. Loved it but too much truck. Traded it in on 17 Tacoma loaded. Best decision i’ve made. I pull a boat on occasion. No giant stuff.

Or you can get a Ram EcoDiesel. I get on average about 25mpg driving around BR. If i can go 60mph, i'll get around 35mpg. Going 80 on the interstate keeps me around 25mpg.
Buddy i work with bought the F150 Ecodiesel b/c he said he'd never buy a Chrysler product. Told him if you told me a year ago that i'd be driving a dodge, i would have laughed in your face. Love my Ram Laramie, and after he rode around with me he said he would rather the Ram over the F150. Said it was much nicer inside, and i paid about $8k less than he did.
I've had tons of compliments on the inside of the truck. And i love my Ram Boxes.

How? I just got a new 3.5L eco and mostly drive on the highway. Getting around 19.5 mpg (according to the computer which I've read isn't very accurate).

Aint nothing wrong with an XLT. I can back a truck up so I dont need a back up cam. I know where I am going and have maps on my phone if needed. No need for Nav. I prefer cloth to leather. My arse doesn't melt when I sit in the seat after its been parked in the sun for a while.

A XLT has everything I need. I just have no interest spending 40k+ on a truck.

I paid $37k for for my Ram Laramie EcoDiesel.
when it's hot outside, i just hit the remote start on my key fob. Turns the truck on, puts the ac on and my seat coolers as well if it's hot outside, or it puts the heat on, the heated seats, and my heated steering wheel if it's cold outside that way i get into a comfortable car.
And if i'm too far away for the key fob to work, i can just open the Uconnect app on my phone and start the truck from there.

My 2019 XLT has navigation on it. XLT FX4 302A package was 56 sticker 42k out the door. Luckily I had a lot of equity in my Silverado I traded in so only financed 29k.
