so why should we completely eradicate the lands that they hold when the innocent people who live in their controlled lands dont have anything to do with their rise?
I would argue that the citizens are as much to blame for the rise of ISIS as anything. They allow them to run amok in their lands, you hardly hear anybody in the Muslim nations up in roar with what ISIS has done other than the Kurds.

France recognized our independence not because of us, but in spite of U.K. We really didn't have much to do with their decision to back us, they backed us out of their own national interests.

Seems like information is really slow coming from the city.

What's the latest, rt?
19 killed, 59 wounded at an arena bigger than the Smoothie King Center
I'm thinking of the many times I've been in the Superdome... and potentially someone detonating a nail bomb on the bridge leading out of Gate A of the Dome as a packed sold out crowd empties out
it's a really scary thought

Shep Smith actually nailing it.
Our need or desire for massive security has made us more vulnerable for terrorism. Massive crowds back up at the gates because it takes so long to get through security and into the venue. They attack the large crowds right outside of security. Walk past the South gates of Tiger Stadium an hour before the game. The crowd is insane.

It's a possibility in any mass populated small area. The thought crosses my mind usually once or twice while tailgating at LSU games.
You can't let that kinda shite deter you though. Once people start sheltering indoors and are scared to go outside the terrorists have won.

i think it speaks a lot to how well we do at actually providing security at our stadiums and what not. while they could cause potentially staggering amount of casualties if an attacker could get a bomb to a choke point like a gate entrance, you generally dont hear about bombs actually getting into a stadium very often

I was in the Superdome for the Saints next home game after 9/11
I did take a few extra looks around though

That is the exact opposite of what happened today though.

I didn't vote for Trump, but goddamn it gets tiring to see assholes posting shite about him in every thread.
This thread should have nothing to do with Trump or Obama, or Bush..

You think international recognition would've stopped us from claiming the 13 colonies and beyond as ours? frick no.

Yeah but I'm pretty surprised it hasn't happened yet. Those clowns working security in the yellow jackets screening you aren't America's finest.

You can't let it impact your life but you have to stay aware of it. Just like living in Baton Rouge and dealing with crime. Chances are high you'll never be involved in an attack or a felony but you have to stay vigilant.
