Judge not lest you be judged.

Death is too easy for these people.

He should be in a room forced to complete mind numbing menial tasks everyday for food. Like tieing and untieing a thousand pairs of shoes a day and if he doesn't reach his quota, he doesn't eat. And then waft delicious smelling food into his cell randomly and different sents to keep him starving but only ever feed him spoiled food. Picture yourself constantly tieing and untieing tightly knotted tiny stringed shoes every day. You'd go insane.

Or

Put electrodes on everything he does. The toilet, utensils, the ladder to his bed, plates, toothbrush handles, everything and turn them off and on randomly throughout the day so he is always getting shocked but he never knows when or from what.

That's worse than the death penalty.

so the death penalty is wrong, and we shouldn't judge people... but we should mentally torture them?

I didn't say it was wrong. I said it was too easy.

There's a difference between trying, sentencing, and punishing someone for a crime and saying you hope he burns in hell.

we should mentally torture them?

Absolutely. Every day until he dies. You don't think the dead man's friends and family will think of their lost loved one every day? The convict mentally tortured them. Punishment should fit the crime.

It's pretty obvious from the video that Brannan was insane. Normal people don't act that way. The dancing in the street, the immediate anger and irrational behavior.

That being said, I don't have a problem with executing him.

The Dinkheller video is terrifying. I'm glad this piece of shite is no longer alive.

I watched a montage of cops getting shot/beat on during traffic stops the other day. I thought about posting it on here, but figured people would just shite all over it since the OT is so fricking anti-police.

It's fricking sad that it took almost 17 years for this to happen. Death Row/sentences are such a fricking joke in this country.

Expediting the death penalty because you want people murdered quicker, does not outweigh the loss of even one innocent life with an expedited death penalty.

And death penalty executioners are some of the most demented sick twisted people on this planet.

Death is good enough for me. All this torture shite is stupid, and the costs would be insane. IMO, the system is the problem and these sentences aren't carried out quick enough.

As someone whose family has personally been touch by murder (and the subsequent death sentence), the length of time that these pieces of shite sit in prison is horrible.

you're incredibly naive if that's what you think held this up.

You have to review EVERYTHING related to the trial. Was the evidence presented obtained legally? Were proper court procedures used? etc.

I'm not saying it needs to take 17 years, but you better make sure the whole thing is AIR TIGHT before you take the life of an American citizen.

It's why we are the greatest country to have ever existed

it's the price of living in a free society with a great justice system.

I'm not saying it SHOULD have taken 17 years. But no one benefits from a hastily done execution

While I certainly sympathize with them, I can't take into account people's feelings when it comes to getting it right. We have to get it right

Dude you're insane. Murdering people faster isn't going to bring back the victims or stop other murders.

A cheap pair of shoes, the cheapest dry cereal available and water. That's not expensive.

I'm sorry that your family had to go through that. But expediting murder for murder's sake is not logical or necessary.

He is caught on the dash cam of the officer executing him in cold blood. Pretty sure that evidence was obtained legally....

I think you might be confused on the definition of murder. A court ordered execution of a killer is not in fact murder. You have to know this, right, and calling it a "murder" will not fool the majority of people in here.
