yes, had to fill in for one of my delivery drivers and while on my way to the parking lot, i noticed this car was on it's roof, and head lights still on, and smoke coming from radiator.
Called 911, and bitch wanted me to go to car and look inside to see if some one was alive. I said bullshite, i'll get within 10 feet and thats good enough. It was 5am, dark as frick, and with car flipped over, u could not see into the car.
I kind of acted like a girl, and was scared to see an arm ripped off, or head severed, or some shite.
I noticed something move, and told her, yep something moved, some one is in there. cops hauled arse to get there.
Guy had to have been drunk. the road he flipped it on, is only 1/4 of a mile at best, and had to have had some speed going to flip it in the grass

Couple of times for car accidents.
Once when someone had broken into my house. Only a few things were taken (& not really anything valuable) but the whole house smelled like gasoline.

Yes. We came home one day and caught a burglar in our house. Dad held him at gun point and told me to call 911. Dad probably would have shot him if my little brother and I wasn't there. I remember the guy turned and looked like he was about to run and my Dad said I'll cut you in half from this distance with this shotgun

Twice.
First time I was in middle school, we were tailgating at LSU, and there was a pay phone near by. I was playing with my little sister who was 5 or so at the time, and I picked up the phone and dialed 911. I didn't put in any money but wanted to see what would happen. The operator called the phone back and my mom picked up. She asked who did it and I pinned it on my little sister as she had just learned about "911" and I didn't wanna get in trouble
Second time was in high school when I backed out of the driveway and into my best friends dad's brand new truck, which was parked on the street. We had tried to call the local sheriff office but they had closed for the day, and his dad was really pissed off and told us to just call 911 to get an officer out to file a report. 911 wasn't happy that I called for a non emergency

I called 911 as a prank as a kid. shite got real when two police cars showed up. Fortunately I was 6 and lied my arse off and said I dialed 911 as a mistake. Twice. In a row.

Yes, when I was like 5 my friend and I kept calling and hanging up on them. When they called back to let dad know, he sat us down and informed me that they were coming to arrest us. I think that was the starting point of my anxiety in life.

Once.
Saw a guy lay down his Harley in an attempt to keep from hitting an elderly couple who pulled out in front on him on La 308 years ago. Bike rolled over him and he died on the scene.

I have called several times for different reasons. Can't remember them all.
Best one was back around Christmas 2007. I was on the phone with my ex and heard a crunch that could only be from a car. I run out the front door and there is an older two door Buick on its roof in my front yard. He rolled it like 4 times. I sprint down there to check on the driver, thinking he is probably in pieces. There was no need for that, dude was fine, at least physically. He crawled out of a window that was only 8 inches wide, completely drunk off his arse. I asked if he was alright, he proceeded to say to me "Tell em to call Jo Coch". He repeated it about 10 times before I realized through his slurring that he meant Johnny Cochran. Which I found hilarious. Then his buddy drove up and he tried to hop in with him and leave before I grabbed him. Alcohol makes us do crazy things. I wish I could mime for y'all how he "explained" that he swerved to avoid another car. Freaking hysterical.

Yes. A couple of times actually. Twice was for what seemed like an impaired driver ALL over the freaking road .. was on a 4 lane on the way home and husband was too scared to pass him as you couldn't tell wehre the hell he was going.
Then most recently, a bridge near our home is out so traffic is actually rerouted right in front of our neighborhood. Well, let's just say not everyone is familiar with the curve in the road and at least twice while we were home at night, people have gone into the ditch and hit the culvert. 2 totaled cars for sure and some injured people each time. We were the closest so we called 911 and husband and son walked down to check on them.

At least five times. The most recent was for a guy in front of me whose car caught fire while he was driving it.

You wouldn't believe the amount of BS calls we get. Literally ~90% of them. It's nice when we actually get to help a person in need

I haven't called 911 before, but I did call *CP (Causeway Police) to report a pickup truck going southbound (I was heading northbound) who was out of control and bouncing back and forth between the railings like a pinball. He's lucky he didn't flip and that nobody else was around him.

Yes.
Car jacked at gun point.

Did you secretly dial while he wasn't looking? Or wait until he was gone? I always wondered how I would handle being carjacked at gunpoint.
Also did he just walk up to the car or had he broken in and was waiting in the backseat? At night in parking lots I always check the backseat and trunk of my car.

Once I thought I was going to get carjacked while sitting in the car trapped by a train. I started hyperventilating bc I just knew I was going to have to shoot someone. Thank goodness they just kept walking.

Was going to meet friends at Nicks bar on Tulane. Parked behind the bar on a side street. When I got out the car dude was right on me and put a gun to my face and said give me everything. Gave him my keys and wallet and walked away. Went to the corner about 200 feet away and watched him in the car but called the cops. As he bumbled around the car I told 911 where I was at. The brake lights kept coming on but he never started the car. I told 911 I didn't think he knew how to start the car (stick shift). A few minutes later he got out of the car and walked away. Cops showed up a few minutes later and found him a few streets away.
Funny thing is, he was a male prostitute who had left the hospital where his gf was having a baby. He went to get a car so he could take his gf and baby home.
He did 6 years from that. He was a third time armed robber
