I've done close to 20 of them. They are my crack. Even the ones that aren't great are still fun.
10 or so in Chattanooga
2 in Nashville
1 in Vancouver
1 in Philly
1 in Charleston
1 in Memphis
1 in Denver
I'm sure if forgetting some too.

We did the Clue Carre vampire room last year. It was a lot of fun. Made it out with 4 minutes to spare. I've heard the Mortuary escape rooms are a blast.

Buddy of mine did one as part one of a job interview. Nine other applicants were there, all did it together.

Been to quite a few in different states (Texas, Wisconsin, Georgia).
They range in difficulty
I've only been in 1 group that failed to escape and it was next to impossible...needed quite a bit of luck to get out of that one which was lame.
Acouple have been really really hard and a couple kinda easy.
Definitely worth doing with a group of friends or ice breaker with coworkers. Shows you whose a leader, obedient, an arse hole, and a whinny bitch

I did one where there was a suitcase bomb, and you figure out the code to disarm it based on clues in the room. I think there was an hour time limit.
After like 5 minutes, our group decided to just hit random numbers. Bomb went off, and we got to leave.

Possible, depending on if other people book.
When my wife and I have done rooms just the 2 of us, we book an empty room 2 hours before it starts.
The booking site that most of them use take the room off the booking site an hour before hand.
