How long would you agree to be a slave if it meant you never had to hear about racism again?

How long would you need a guaranteed slave at your disposal before you agreed to never mention racism again?

Please indicate in your response whether your answer is relative to being a slave or owning a slave.

0 years, 0 months, 0 weeks, 0 days, 0 hours, 0 minuts, 0 seconds.

Racism doesn't bother me because I got dat priviledge and the fact that no ism will ever keep a person down (except communism). Individuals are where they are in life because of their actions and the actions of their parents not because of some outside force.

I didn't want to answer my own question in the op, but I think I could give it a solid 4 hours to never have to hear about it again.

No, what I'm digging for is clarity on what "they" actually want us to do about it?

Yes, the hypothetical is silly, but other than reparations, no one has laid out a clear plan for what they want to happen to make things "fair".

I would be willing to be a slave for either the exact amount of time that I have owned slaves or for the exact amount of time that any black American has been a slave, which ever is longer.

I never owned any, no one alive in America today was an American slave on a plantation.

It doesn't bother me how much people complain. When it comes down to it, was it wrong to own another human being as property? Yes. But today, every African American born can be whatever and do whatever they want. Is it sometimes harder for others than some? Sure. Its not always easy for everyone, nothing is perfect..but there are more oppourtunities today for minorities in America than ever before

Racism doesn't bother me enough to warrant being a slave and/or owning one for an extended period of time. Sounds like a dumb trade off if you ask me...

You're only looking at black/white racism.

I've never heard a black person suggest white people become slaves as a means of resolution.

The only thing you can do to end racism is stop being racist. Are you prepared to do that?

A slave like having a job, paying 40% tax on your earnings, paying a tax to live in your own house, paying another tax to buy clothing, transportation, and food so you can go to your job the next day kind of slave?

Or one that doesn't need sunscreen and gets checks in the mail for having babies kind of slave?
