Is there any website that can tell you a base salary for an elementary school teacher in EBR for private vs public?

Or perhaps does anyone have a general ballpark figure?

Public is easy to find on the school boards website. Doubt you find private on the Internet.

EBR start at about 37k or 38k. You can check the EBR web site. Look for compensation schedule.

Private will be closer to 25k. Maybe lower, depending on the school.

Yes.

The Jackson (TN) Generals' ballpark seats 6,000.

Private schools all start at the same rate?

Catholic ones. The richer the school the higher the number. But no less than 32. Ebr diocese scale.

Private school is considerably less, but it has its perks.

It's like 44 for first year, B.A. degree.

I know it is lower, but I doubt it is THIS low. Unless it's like preschool. Secretaries with no education make more than this.

I would think private school would make much more. You telling me an Episcopal 9th grade teacher makes less than a 9th grade teacher at Dehnam?

Some of the EBR charters make a little more, 41-46k depending on exp., but buyer beware.

My buddies wife teaches at a private school. Trust me it's less, and she is teaching middle school Math.
