So, I'm supposed to fly out of Dallas tonight. Good idea or bad idea? Could always rent a car. The drive would be a pain in the arse but doable.

The original Dallas patient took several long flights to get here and no one on those flights has been diagnosed.

I think it's fair to doubt the absoluteness of our current understanding of Ebola transmission, or at least it's fair to doubt the infected person's subjective assessment of when she became symptomatic.

Please let her live.

With her being black, I can only imagine what Jesse will say if both black patients die.

Is ebola racist? If so, I'd love to see Jesse go after ebola

But the rev has already turned the treatment into a race issue with statements he made last week.

I think he needs to make a trip to Africa to see "his people" that are dying and in need of help. I'd pay $$ to see him go there (no hazmat suit included)

Fair is fair, AIDS got here first. And, with Ebolaids - lingual flow, notwithstanding - I can virtually guarantee a giant lawsuit from a particular antacid manufacturer.

Looks like it likes a certain skin pigment. Maybe it likes the BBC?

Also, just saw on another forum that the patient flew on Oct. 13th and the plane wasn't quarantined until 1am on the 15th. This means that plane was in revenue service for however many flights after on the 13th and 14th before it was taken out of service. Wonder how many people went to the bathroom or were on that plane.

ETA: Apparently the routing of the plane (N220FR) was CLE-FLL-CLE-ATL-CLE on the 14th
