Precisely. I'm not arguing incubation period, or when someone may or may not be able to transmit the disease. I'm saying putting your faith in any government agency, especially CDC dealing with the public health is laughable. frick those guys and their lies. They are already being exposed on what they said a few weeks ago vs. what they are saying now.

Nonetheless, you've already admitted that your knowledge of the subject hinges on a brief conversation you had with your "phd buddy". So you personally have nothing to add to the conversation with respect to any literature you have reviewed on the subject of ebola, Mr. "what's the problem". The problem is people like you. Educate yourself, before you go around trying to blast people over when a patient is symptomatic and contagious. That's not the point of the thread. The real point is that she should have never been allowed to travel after being determined to be a contact.
The risk has gone up because too many people like yourself think it is not a big deal and so they go ahead and get on a plane, or go out to pick up lunch while under quarantine.
