Got thrown into jail for "reckless driving" when I was 20.
My Dad had just bought a special edition RX-7 and I was doing some spirited driving on some two lane roads headed back to the house. Yeah I was speeding but it wasn't stupid fast. Wasn't doing drugs and sober as a preacher. It was daytime and no traffic around, so I gunned it a bit.
Lights appear behind me and I pull onto a side street. Cop gets out and tells me to get out of the car and I comply. I ask the officer politely what is the issue. Then a man pulls in behind the cop and starts tearing into him verbally about him almost running the guy off the road trying to catch up to me.
Pissed off cop tells him to frick off, then decides to arrest me in his anger and off I go to jail. My Dad posts my bond and I get to pay $360 in court a couple of months later.
Goddamned POS cop. Yes, I made a mistake, yes I was speeding, but going to jail for that??? What an a-hole.

Got a ticket for running a red light and almost hitting a cop who "had his emergency lights on", when in reality he ran the red light and almost hit me and his lights were not on.
When I asked him what emergency was so unimportant he could stop and give me a ticket instead of proceeding to the call...and if my light was red, why did 3 other cars go under behind me...and why hadn't he stopped them, he almost arrested me.

Yeah. Just came out of a store. Putting the bags in the backseat when the driver pulled off. Cop rung me up.

Traveling from Nola to Houston at 3 am, going the speed limit, I got pulled over in Vidor and given a ticket for driving in the left lane. Not a soul on the interstate.

You don't question cops. You just comply with their demands, tickle your tonsils with their dick, and thank them for your ticket. Don't forget to shake their hand before driving away.

I got a seatbelt violation while wearing my seatbelt.
Cop was a total dick, it probably didn't help when he told me why he pulled me over.

Surprised it wasn't the world's biggest speed trap otherwise known as Beaumont.

Got a $200 ticket for crossing a solid white line to get into a turn lane when there was nobody on the road besides me and I used my blinker. I had to get the cop to explain it to me twice because I legitimately didn't understand why I was getting a ticket

Got a speeding ticket once for doing 28 in a 25. I was just pulling out of a parking lot. Hadn't even checked the speedometer yet

Driving to the hospital semi emergency at 6:15 am no one on the road. Light turns yellow-red quickly and instead of slamming on the brakes stop the car with the bumper across the white line. Light turns green and I take off. 2 cops in store parking lot across the street take off like a bat out of hell and both run hot and pull me over for running a red light. Told them I did not run a red light--told me to tell that to the judge. What bullshite.

Had a car merge right in front of me, then slam on their brakes. I rear-ended them, a cop showed up and said he was just doing an exchange of information, then about a month later a ticket for "following too close" showed up in the mail.

I was coming back from working the grocery store in Woodville MS through St. Francisville. There was road contruction going on just past the Myrtles, 35 MPH. A coworker had gotten a ticket that morning, so I was going 30. I saw a cop by an intersection waving his hand up and down as if signaling to slow down. I motioned to him, my intention being "yessir I understand, will do." Well, his missing toothed dumb arse pulled me over, and first thing he said was, very sarcastically, "I saw you wave when you blew past me!!" Apparently that was a seat belt check, but dumb arse power tripper didn't know the difference between a gesture to slow down and the gesture for stop. Even my Paw Pa, a retired Baton Rouge cop, said that was dumb on his part.

Moving out to Vegas I was on a 2 lane road, passed a cop going the other way and he flipped a bitch and threw on his lights and pulled me over. Got out and asked if I knew how fast I was going. I said around 70 or so and he said 68, and asked if I knew what the speed limit was. I told him I thought it was 65 and he said yes it is. He ended up giving me a warning.
The dumbest ticket I ever got was an unsafe lane change. I watched a lot of Law and Order and contested it and I summed up the cop's testimony by asking him "so it's you're testimony that I, while in a lane designated as a passing lane by dotted white lines, turned on my turn signal, changed lanes without exceeding the speed limit or causing other cars around me to swerve or hit their brakes, passed a car and then got back into the previous lane after applying the opposite turn signal?" He said, well yes I guess. I just looked at the judge and shrugged my shoulders and she dismissed it.
