Nothing will happen to this kid. He will get a drunk in public, but probably not even that. He needs an arse beating but this will not be the instance that he gets it. It's coming though. You can tell it's coming.

My favorite part was him acting like a tough guy until the cop gets there and cuffs him, then he announces how fricked up he is (like that excuses this) and you can see the realization that shite just got real for him hitting him like a ton of bricks.
I hope he spends a good bit of time in jail. Just for being a terrible human being.

Ehhh he took way too much abuse and waited way too long to call the cops
Steps he should have taken:
1. Warn the kid to leave when he catches him drinking
2. Warn the kid he will call the cops if he doesn't leave.
3. Call the cops
4. Take the abuse until the cops get there.
The school probably tells the staff to be lenient on their students because thats where the money comes from but I guarantee that guy is told to call the police sooner next time a student is acting like that

It's really hard to process all of that in real time. He did fine but there were a few things that could have been handled better. I'm not saying that to criticize (I'm having trouble posting an armchair quarterback pick on my phone right now) but this is just how I saw it.
The manager shouldn't have taken an antagonistic tone. That doesn't do anything to defuse the situation.
The other staff shouldn't have let the crowds gather if they could. The very presence of the crowd was egging the little shite on.
He shouldn't have put his hands on the dude's throat. Whether he was or wasn't, that looked like he was choking him.
He should have called the police much earlier. That's what most campus police are for.
The policeman should have made sure that the manager and the chef were gone before getting the student up. Their presence would have done nothing further than to antagonize the student
