Driving to work and saw a Suzuki truck which got me thinking

How does one end up driving a Suzuki truck? Do they actively go out and say "Hey, I think I'm going to get a new truck and I really want to go get me a midsize Suzuki." You don't see them advertised much. Do salesman at other lots push the used ones onto people and actively try to sell them?"

I drove one once. I took it as a loner from chevy when my silverado was getting new tie rods. It rode like shite

Because they wanted a Nissan Frontier, and this was a lot cheaper and the same fricking thing?

I thought Suzuki quit selling new vehicles in the U.S. Or is this an older one being talked about?

Older one. They stopped in 2012.

It was cheap. Chevy Colorado was a better truck though.

Because either people need a truck but can't afford a different model.
Or worrying about what others think isn't that big of a deal to them

I'm with you. Why not get a used Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, or Dodge with a few more miles for the same price???
Suzuki truck parts can't be terribly common. It wouldn't behoove any auto part store to keep that in stock.

I saw a Suzuki trailblazer the other day. Not a beat up looking truck either, but a nice decked out mid- 00's trailblazer, yet it was a Suzuki.
Nevermind, it was an Isuzu come to think of it, and this isn't were I left my keys..

quite the opposite though internationally. It's easy to get the parts and every vehicle they have made was made in conjunction with a larger manufacturer.

With the downturn in the Oil market, I'm considering a Daihatsu. Many of my Baws are mulling the move as well.
