Is he talking about the cop killer from last month who got his spine damaged and face smashed in getting arrested?

Now, every justified shoot is used for politics.

Ridiculous.

No, the 17 year old that was killed last night. Gun jammed when he tried to shoot at JPSO.

Jefferson Parish sheriff talking about a shooting last night with one of his police officers. Press was apparently calling the perp a victim and he let them have it on live TV.

It's been a few years since I've been in a criminal justice class, but I'm pretty sure the injured or killed party in any shooting is referred to as the victim. It's not supposed to be a charged word of any kind.
