I read an article last night about how this is becoming more common, particularly in the evangelical world. It mentioned some creep into the Southern Baptist and United Methodist churches.

I haven’t experienced it, but I’m not a regular church goer, and when I do go I go to an Episcopal Church.

Here’s the article if anyone is interested in reading it. It’s rather lengthy, but interesting.

Very rarely.
When it does come up, it’s usually reminding us how to apply “Love thy neighbor.”

very rarely at my church. It's gospel based and the only time they mention anything to do with politics is to get out and vote and be informed on the candidates and issues on the ballot, and that is not every year.

The have spoke out maybe two to three times on an issue in my lifetime.

Well pretty much all of the ten commandments are political issues now so does that count?

Absolutely not. They may say go vote and look at what’s at stake, but they are not telling us who to vote for.

Not from the pulpit but I was pleasantly surprised when the Archdiocese in SF took a stand last week against some abortion protection state legislation here in CA and asked our congregation to oppose the law.

We left a church because they started doing it before the 2020 general election

This is why you're all being led astray, you're pastor should have something to say about abortion and homosexuality being legal.

The only thing I have encouraged is that people exercise their right to vote. The Bible contains more than enough information to cover on the secular/non-secular interface.

Walked out of a church service in London when the priest started talking trash on Trump before the 2016 election.

Went to a church in Central that had a sign in foyer of Paul revere warning everyone “The Liberals are coming”. It’s a big church out there.

It's fascinating to watch white liberal elites think they've discovered a phenomenon despite the fact that's its been happening in the black community for 60 years.

It goes to show that they either really have no clue about the people they claim to be fighting for or they're intentionally keeping their heads in the sand

Spleen, ask your wife's bull about this. He'll tell you about it.
