Sometimes I wish I would have gone to the Army first.
Always wanted to fly helicopters since I was a kid. Like a real profession not like Rambo and Chuck Norris.

Scruffy doesn't regret it, but he kinda wishes he would have gone to an out of state school. It could've been more interesting.

I don't regret going to LSU because I had some awesome times and met a lot of my best friends while there.

I do wonder how my life would be different if I had decided to go to Georgia Tech.

Dang man, I feel like I read you had recently bought a house down here?

To answer the OP, I regret not being more serious about it the first time I went, but not the choice.

I regret going to college out of high school. But that was what you did and trade school was supposedly where the losers went. I wish I would have just went to trade school done the computer thing then, and then made money and hopefully started my career earlier than 30.

Same here. This whole "you can be the president if you want to" bullshite that is fed to kids is ridiculous.

Not everyone is made for college and guess what...someone with gumption and no college degree can out earn some yahoo with an advanced degree.

Its never discussed in highschool though.

Yes and no. Do I regret not having gone out of state? Yes. Do I regret my choice to go to LSU? No

Yes. LSU will forever be the biggest regret/mistake of my life.

Negative. You may be confusing me with someone else? I'm not sure if we know each other IRL. But if we do id be curious to know how we know each other.

I have no regret for my choices. But I wish I had been a little more experienced.

Looking back, I was kinda all sorts mentally fricked up. I did ok, and I had fun, and we had a good group of people, but I had such a fricking odd weird, terrible anxiety thing about getting involved in shite that I wonder how much did I hurt myself.

Eh- I went to LSU because I didn't know what I wanted to major in and my high school girlfriend was going. She dumped me after a month or so but I made my way. I enjoyed a bunch of extra-curricular stuff but I wonder if I'd have gotten a better education with smaller classes and really knowing my professors.

I did go to grad school in Virginia and can honestly say I'm happy I got out of Louisiana for that.

No worries. I'm always astounded when anyone recognizes my username on here because I feel like I fly fairly under the radar.

talk to a Dr. who said he wished he would have gone to a Georgia, LSU type school for undergrad.
said lots of smart, snobby people at Duke.
he said you end up at the same place after med school

Don't go down that path. Nothing good comes from playing the what if game. Work on the future, not the past. Just my two worthless cents.
