Maybe you did alright at the state school, but do yo ever wonder what would have happened? what would it have been like? Met hotter girls and wifed one up. Enjoyed you rmajor and made all kinds of friends and played sports. Made some awesome best friends to have adventures with. Explore a new city? Meet all kinds of people. LSU is cool, but I will always wonder what schools like USC, Rice, Emory,Tulane, UCSB, or Lewis and Clark College would've been like.

After spending a week at Mississippi State, yes. I would have lived like Alex Moran if I would have went to an SEC school like that.

Yes and no. I loved my time at LSU, but now that I've moved outside Louisiana, I feel like it would have been good for me to leave home for college.

One of those "grass is always greener" things.

It would not have mattered where I went to college. The light had not yet gone off. I would have wasted my potential no matter where I was. LSU just had the 5 year pleasure of my company.

Although I do wish I would have went away for college, I do not regret staying at home and going to LSU

I kinda wish I would have went to LSU instead of La Tech.

But financially it was the correct decision as I graduated completely debt free from Tech and would have had to probably take a few loans at LSU.

Not sure if my career would be any different though, so it would have really just been about the experience.

Pretty much this.

I think somewhere like USC, UCLA, Pepperdine would have been fun, expensive but fun.

I regret going to college out of high school. But that was what you did and trade school was supposedly where the losers went. I wish I would have just went to trade school done the computer thing then, and then made money and hopefully started my career earlier than 30.

There are some things I would do differently starting in high school if I had the maturity I have now back then, but frick it. Things aren't that bad. I'm grateful for what I have. And I wouldn't have learned the things I did if I didn't make some of those mistakes along the way.

Most of my high school friends went to small private schools or more prestigious big universities (like uva, utexas, uscwest,)

I wouldnt change where I went, maybe what I did while I was at lsu.

It was the best 6 years of my life

There's nothing wrong with that. I got my degree from one of the most ostensibly liberal public universities East of the Mississippi - it only strengthened my beliefs. Being exposed to opposing rhetoric is only bad if you don't have a solid foundation.
