I belong to a pretty awesome sports group that has been around for 40 years.
All of our sports are with our own members. Softball, golf, flag football, basketball, and tennis.
It's most def. a sports club but we have 4 social parties a year that include the wives.
No trash. No beer in the dugouts, etc. None of the muscle shirt and tatted up afliction crowd.
We do drink our asses off after games and at social functions, so we are not perfect.

I'm 37 and play in two basketball leagues a week. One for the men's club at my church and another in a sports group, probably the same one notiger1997 is referring to. Also have three kids under the age of 7. Kids and work do keep you busy, but always can fit in a night or two for basketball.

Yeah, I'm sure we run in the same circle. Several of my friends play two nights a week with the mens club. That is in addition to the "other" group that starts with an O.

Played brsa under 30 for 4 seasons. Pretty fun & definitely challenging, but consistently had problems getting 11 players to show up for the games despite having 21 or 22 on the roster. I still don't understand why so many people would pay $90 for the season and then not show up to play. Sucks balls when only 9 guys show up so you run your dick off all game and still lose 8-1.

When you say adult sports leagues...I mean I have a naked football team I play on

Played in the premiere league of a highly competitive soccer league (here in Houston) for several years, but now play in an over-30 soccer league with a shite ton of cougs.

There's something about adult slow pitch softball that attracts really shitty human beings.

A few Men's basketball leagues.

People take that shite too seriously though. Have seen more than a few 40 year olds fight over a fricking softball game.

Besides sports leagues, over 30's probably are more of the hunter/fisher crowd.
Honestly, I am closer to 30 than 20, and a weekend in the mountains, a day on the lake, or some time on the range is better than flag football.
But I flag football, softball, and dodgeball

I am 22 and have been playing competitive flag football for 3 years now. There are a lot of former college players, so there is legit competition and it gets heated from time to time. I love playing though. Couple of bruises here and there, but it is a finesse league for the most part.
Ive also played in volleyball leagues too. Really learned how to spike and I became a force
Ive never understood why guys dont play volleyball in the south. It is my 3rd favorite sport play.
All adults should participate in some physical activities. Move or die IMO

Why's that, when you've clearly stated it's your 3rd favorite sport to play?

Coed indoor soccer
As long as I don't try anything too crazy while playing, it's really fun.

Play in a flag football league with some co-workers on Thursday nights. We've got a few former college athletes are pretty solid.

I'm over 30 and still play soccer. It depends on the league how seriously I take it. But some people will act like a pickup game is the damn World Cup. I have 2 kids and can still find time also, but compared to college, these activities obviously take a back seat to family and work...

Biggest problem with co-ed softball, at least in my own experience, is that women are way less likely to show up for games.

I'm 35. Every one if my friends that played sports as an adult has either had 2 or three orthopedic type surgeries or is nearly disabled.
