I've never had a taste for alcohol. I developed a tolerance for some beer. A fait share of alcohol twists my stomach up.

But you have lost more in quality of life than you will ever know. I pity you.

I have always loved beer but I find I am gravitating to wine or bourbon lately. Less filling. However there are some times when those don't make sense like working outside or a crawfish boil then it is beer for me.

Apparently if a drink actually tastes GOOD then it is not a manly drink.

I'm 47 and have never developed a taste for beer.
I've tried it several times and drank socially a few times but frankly could never seem to find a brand that didn't taste nasty to me.
My dad didn't drink it either.

I never liked the taste of beer. I tried hundreds of times to like it. I'm glad for it. Everything that I do like I abuse consumption.
The last time I drank any alcohol was over year ago when me and the mrs. spent the weekend w/o kids in NOLA. I was a having a good time until i started drinking, it depresses me quickly.

Most mainstream beer tastes like shite to me too. I won't even touch a bud/miller/Busch anything. And I'm not a fan of IPAs.

I have found that I like some unique craft beers, but my go to tends to be some form of cider beer.

I like mix drinks to taste more, but they dont like me in the end so I drink beer when I drink a few because I mostly just mellow out and dont really get all sloppy like I donwhen I drink crown, Or Jimmy Beam.

Seriously, if you don't like beer, go to Germany or Austria. No one can make beer like these two countries can. If you leave those countries without some appreciation of beer, that is really just sad.

I've tried it, and it is just awful to me. Then again, I don't really have a sweet tooth (really the only deserts I like are cheesecake and creme brulee), so that may be the issue, but it tastes like blended Jolly Ranchers to me.
