Does anybody else hate the taste of beer?

I am nearing 40. I have tried many types of beer, but I have never found anything I like. When I drink, it is usually at a social event, which isn't very often. I don't drink to get drunk; I only drink what tastes good. Beer simply tastes nasty, imo.
Anybody else here feel the same way? I will hang up and listen.

I'm not a fan of most beer. Can't even stand dark beer, it makes me vomit. Lighter color beer is ok.

I think all different types of beer are acquired tastes. I never even tried to drink a whole beer until after I turned 21, and it took me a while to enjoy even something like a Coors Lite. Then it took me an even longer time to enjoy IPAs, and I still don't like many dark beers.
But now, there aren't many things that I can think of more refreshing than an ice cold domestic beer on a hot afternoon.

Hate is a strong word. But yes, I don't care for beer. I will drink it to be social but it like "whatever". Like others ITT I look at it as a money saver and carbohydrate reducer.
