Lesson #1: don't go to fricked up countries.

Lesson #2: if your dumbass goes to a fricked up country, you better walk the line.

They did mention a "sleeping pill" maybe they over medicated him and he stopped breathing and had an anoxic brain injury. Or maybe he hung himself in his cell a few days ago? Long enough for bruises and swelling from hanging to heal but long enough to never recover.

That poor bastard is fricked. There is no recovery from a brain injury that caused loss of brain mass. I believe I read 30% undersized I guess would be the word.

He was a college student. Sometimes they do dumb things. And its not like he jumped the fence. He was on an official tour.

Winner. Diffuse brain death like that isn't caused by beating. It's caused by hypoxia. They either put him under water or cut off his air some other way. Then held onto him long enough for any bruises or other evidence of a struggle to heal. Really surprised they didn't kill him and claim some sort of accident.

there was no sign of recent or healed skeletal injuries. They also called bullshite on botulism. No sign of that. They said respiratory arrest is unusual in a young healthy person and usually caused by some kind of trauma. The only people who know are in NK and they arent telling.

Someone call Dr. House to figure this out.

Actually they said just the opposite

One of the drs in the press conference today said there was no evidence of botulism
I believe NK was saying that it was botulism not the US

Isn't this the kid that stole a political flag from his hotel as a souvenir?

It was reported that it was a propaganda poster on a restricted floor of his hotel.

Just trying to get a souvenir, I guess. But, still a dumb move.

I'm sure the docs are gagged bigtime, but anoxia is what I was thinking or even a coup/contra coup CHI?

Playing devil's advocate:

What were the circumstances of his arrest in NK to begin with?
(ETA oh, ffs. I figured something petty)
I would imagine a self-inflicted injury (accidental) of an American tourist of this severity would freak those already paranoid NKs out...the first thing we would do?

Hospitalize, keep it quiet, and pray for recovery before we get blamed?
Or send him home as-is and shrug our shoulders?
Silence him permanently and say frick their sucky ICBMS?

Just seems either incredibly stupid or arrogant for them to do this intentionally. This
ain't that wimpy metrosexshul with his finger on the button anymore.

ETA 2: yeah, both. They did it for sure.

Alls I know is, I would demand answers and strongly consider bombing those fricks if the answers weren't sufficient. Just me.

Eff that. Don't know why people decide to go there. Only person returning from there without incident is Dennis Rodman.

Never followed how he got to be in good with Kim. Anyone know?

He was on a trip/program through UVA where he was in Hong Kong and took a trip to NK with the group. Took a poster like AP said probably as a souvenir.

KJU is a fanatical 90's bulls fan.

He thinks Rodman is a deity.
