Worked at NASA doing spaceflight research and met every single one that flew between 2009 and 2014. Went to happy hour with many of them. The ESA guys are awesome to have a beer with. There are some good stories that come out after a few beers.

I've met Fred Haise from Biloxi (Apollo 13) twice. He was best friends with one of my elementary teachers back in high school, and he came to speak to our class.

I have had the pleasure to meet and socialize with several astronauts.
While a senior in high school, I had lunch with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in April, 1969 (2 months before... well you know).
I know I didn't eat - not sure if I took a breath.
Pete Conrad (Gimini and Apollo and walked on the moon) and 2 shuttle astronauts.
Conrad acted like it was no big deal and it happened a long time ago.
Growing up, astronauts were my heroes and I only hope that I didn't act too much like a kid when I was with them.

I've banged a few space cadets in my day. Does that count?

Yes, mostly related to work but I also see them outside of work.

Probably... Grandfather was a big shot at NASA back when the US used to actually give a frick about going to space.

Besides stupid stuff like tourist lunches at KSP with astronauts
My bro in law did a lot of work with Buzz while my BiL was getting his doctorate. That old dude is still nuts. He told my BiL a lot insane shite about women.
