Will be in the area for work, and the wife and I are going to spend a weekend in Charleston.

Figured it’d be funny if we ran into the likes of ol’ Shep or T-Rav (Southern Charm) while visiting some of the spots around town. It got me to thinking, are these people celebrities or more reality TV bottom feeders?

Asking for a pick either way.

With that said, any recs on things to do/see?

frick no. For that matter, I really don't give two shits about any celebrity. They're just people. Probably douche bags.

Sure, I guess, but I don't really put stock into anyone's level of fame. It's kinda weird to me to want pictures or autographs of "famous" people.

The only people worse than reality tv stars and celebrities are the people that keep up with their lives.

Visit the recovered confederate submarine, The Hunley. Go out to Ft. Sumpter when the Civil War started.

The azaleas may be in bloom at Middleton Gardens if either of you appreciate mass historic gardens.

No. They haven't proven themselves to be stoopid on that higher level yet.

My girlfriend is a reality personality (big Netflix show). She's not a celebrity by an stretch, but she does get recognized a bit ... she has real fans, so it's cool when they approach.

Almost never.

Maybe some based on popularity and longevity, but rarely. They’re mostly the equivalent of EFG list celebs, if at all.

You are going to hate that shite one day. One of my old employees used to date someone similar and the neverending shite in her DM’s drove him insane.

Then by all accounts, Jake the bouncer from downtown (now Jake the Viking) is super famous. What’s funny is he’s on tour with Breaking Benjamin as a roadie and has way more followers than the band and singer.

I also assume he posts here.
