She lost weight, got a boob job and is now dating some ex-NBA player. Beautiful chick though at age 42; Nicaraguan broad.

Hearing all the horror stories on here makes me appreciate my ex-wife.
Not a great wife but as an ex and a coparent things are good.
And I came out smelling like a rose in the divorce.

Ye prenuptial is hilarious when you are both poor.

My wife and I both share the same religious values anyway and divorce is not an option. I wish my friends who have decided to give up would have had the same. Does not mean everything works out perfectly always but it helps

Like the woman who was just awarded 985 million dollars in her divorce in Oklahoma?

365 lump sum by the end of the year, then 7 million a month for 13 years... she will be just fine. Her lawyer was asking for 6.2 billion

having kids seems like a terrible financial move.

But children provide more to a life than can be measured financially!!

Kidding of course, children are a drain financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. The four biggest regrets of my life.....

I have to disagree with your contention that children drain you spiritually.

Disagree all you want, I was a pretty devout man before number 3 came along and convinced me that there's no god.

which would mean that someone willing to go through divorce would have to be really miserable with their lives to go through with it at least I would think

I wasn't miserable going thru mine. She wanted the divorce and I didn't fight it. A few sleepless nights at first but not miserable. She got her car and a cash settlement and that was it.

I seriously doubt he has kids. What kind of father would say he regrets his kids?

Although there are some really annoying children in this world.

Screaming, mewling, whining little attention factories that won't give you a moment alone.

Seeing those kinds of kids makes me glad I have awesome children.

FIFY. Getting married is a sound financial move for most as long as you don't marry some ridiculous spendthrift that cannot be controlled.

well sure. religious folk never get divorced, nor do they lie, or philander, or covet, etc. Judging others is A-Ok though.
