I didn't because I'm Italian and our families tradition is to receive white envelopes full of cash as wedding gifts.

What about the rest of ya? I personally think money dances are great and always enjoy participating and pinning a $100 bill on the bride.

My wife made us.

But I'm glad she did because we had lots of extra cash for the honeymoon.

No. I'm not trashy.

Edit: we did have a money dance. We danced around and gave money to the guests. Just to prove our wealth.

My ex wife and I did. I fricked up and gave her all that money before honeymoon. I should have kept that shite because it was mostly my friends and family attending the wedding.

but others i have gone 2, did. My parents gave us a nice chunk of change, which ended up paying for honeymoon(paid for cc bill), and cash to enjoy ourselves while in Aruba for 10 days.

Was good enough for me, people gave us cash or checks for gifts, no reason to milk them for more.

This. A money dance is about the trashiest thing that can be done at a wedding.

Yep. Trashy. Those same couples will be hanging monogrammed flags outside their cookie cutter in no time.

Only one thing trashier, would be a food stamp dance.

I've never heard of this. Sounds beggar-ish and trashy.
