Did you ever use the word "tight" instead of cool, etc?

As in "That's tight". Back in high school that used to be the jargon of choice. I've tried it on a few times just to see how I liked it but it just felt wrong. Girl at work says the new word is "fresh".

Let us know if it's tight (possible) or fresh (less possible).

Tight and fire are both acceptable. Fresh is played out. Off the Chain is old as well.

Guy at work says "dank" all the time. Swears he never smoked before but the only people that use "dank" are burners.

I was wrong with my first post.
Dank is the word of the month.

Yes cool is also cool. Good shite is also a replacement for cool.

Waiting for the urban kids to adopt groovy.

Lit or wasted means liquored up. Nice or straight means I have/had a good buzz but not wasted.

"That's tight"
only used that in reference to how well musicians played together
if they were really good, they were tight....meaning, no wrong notes, everyone on cue etc

I hate when people use "that's what's up"
Hey I got a new car.
- Oh for real?! That's what's up.
Tight is perfectly acceptable and I still use it
