I know 2 guys with this degree. One of them did it knowing he wanted to be a coach and is now a successful wrestling coach of a small DII college.

The other has a job that has nothing to do with sports.

If you don't mind making less than $40K per year, by all means choose sports management.

Engineering or bust.

Oh, and learn to spell better!

I know a chick that has a MA in sports science from Southern Miss.

She does academic compliance work and seems to always have job offers rolling in from across the nation.

It took her a few years to work her way up to her current job.

Does anybody here have a degree in sports management or know anyone with this particular degree?
Yes I do. He actually has a degree in Sports Administration and he married my high school girlfriend who I still keep in touch with. He is now a commissioner for one of the Division II college football conferences.

He makes 2 million a year.

My best friend has a sports management degree and went on to get his masters. He is trying to be an NFL agent, passed the test and has his license. If you go this route you better have some wealthy parents because it will be a loooooong time before you ever get a paycheck. Been about a year and a half since he graduated and to my knowledge he has not made $1.

I know two people with this degree. One with a masters, and he's unemployed looking for a job. He once washed clothes for a single a team, making nothibg of course. The other is a personal trainer.

If you like having money, do not do this degree. Teams only hire former players and pay good money. See Vince young, justin vincent, etc.

If you love sports, go for t, but like I said, it's not a career to make money in.

This reminds me of the people locally who claimed to be making $100,000 per episode on their reality show during its first year, when in fact they were making $400 each.

So you're going to post that but not provide any support to your claim?

We believe you

Pretty sure Southeastern has a masters program

A buddy of mine got his masters there in it and now is employed by Rice, no clue what his title is or how much $ he makes.

I have a marketing degree and a sport management degree. I like them both but I don't have a real job or career path yet. I'll probably end up in something kinda shitty like ticket sales

Might end up in grad school for one or both of those as well. No clue.
